Katharina Lampichler, MSc, MD, studied Molecular Genetics and Medicine in Vienna and is currently enrolled in the PhD program of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism. The focus of her research lies on the Hedgehog pathway as important regulator of cancer stem cells in malignant brain tumors and pituitary adenomas. She also works as a radiologist in training at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy.
